4 Types of Monitor

CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) Monitor.

CRT discovered by German physicist Ferdinand Braun in 1897 and became known as the "Braun Tube". CRT is a vacuum tube containing an electron gun and a heating element (heater), which serves to accelerate and deflect the electron beams. This is because in a vacuum hot, the electron beam is easy to move from the cathode toward the anode. Read More ...

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) Monitor.

LCD monitor is monitor which use liquid crystals as the main viewer.
In LCD technology light source comes from white fluorescent lamps are arranged evenly on the rear of the arrangement of pixels (liquid crystal). It  is amounted to millions of pixels to form an image. Polar of liquid crystals which through the electrical current will change due to the influence of the magnetic field polarization arising. It will only let a few colors forwarded while the other colors are filtered. Read More ...

LED monitor has the same technology as LCD monitor. The difference is the LCD monitor uses cold cathode fluorescent lamps for backlighting, LED monitors use diodes. Read More ...

Plasma monitor uses a full color flat panel phosphor to display images. So the combination and the resulting color reproduction is excellent and interactive. Plasma monitor use plasma cells, which is Fluorescent lamp, as the basis for the lighting of the monitor screen. A Plasma monitor utilizing millions Plasma cells are placed between two panes of glass screen. Each cell contains a combination of noble gas and a small amount of mercury to be vaporized and given an electrical charge that glow and form a plasma. Colors produced from phosphorus contained in the cell, where in each cell will contain three types of primary color phosphors, namely: Red, Green, and Blue, or commonly known as RGB. Difference voltage given to each cell also produces color combinations available. Read More ...
