How the Microphone Works:
- When we speak, our voice will form a sound wave and headed to the microphone.
- In microphone, the sound waves will hit the diaphragm which consists of a very thin plastic membrane. Diaphragm vibrates according to the sound waves that it receives.
- A coil or Voice Coil located at the rear of the diaphragm will also vibrate in accordance with vibration of the diaphragm.
- A small fixed magnet which is surrounded by the coil creates a magnetic field in line with the movement of Coil.
- Voice Coil movement in this magnetic field will induce an electrical signal.
- Electricity generated signals are then flowed to the Amplifier or a sound recording device.

- Liquid microphone.
