Motherboard
The motherboard is the board for attaching processor, BIOS, memory, mass storage, interfaces, serial ports, parallel ports, expansion slots, and all the controllers required to control standard peripheral devices, such as monitors, keyboards, and disk drives. The motherboard serves to connect the components of a computer to communicate with each other. Each motherboard has each specification, for example, what the processor specification supports.
